Working with an India-based team
How do contracts, NDAs and IP work?
We're happy to sign your NDA before seeing anything confidential, or use ours. Work runs under a master services agreement with a statement of work per engagement, and intellectual property is assigned to you as invoices are paid.
How do international payments work?
We invoice in US dollars by default (other currencies on request) and accept international bank transfers. Fixed-scope projects are billed by milestone; pods and care plans monthly in advance.
What about time zones?
We're on IST (UTC+5:30). That gives us mornings with the US East Coast, full afternoons with the UK and Europe, and the whole day with the Gulf, Singapore and Australia. Weekly demos are scheduled in your working hours.
Will you sign a data processing agreement?
Yes. Whenever we process personal data on your behalf we sign a DPA, including the EU's standard contractual clauses where required, and handle data in line with GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Can we start small?
Yes. Most clients start with a Discovery Sprint. It's short, fixed-price and useful on its own, and it tells both of us whether we should keep weaving together.
What happens if the scope changes mid-project?
It usually does, and that's fine. Each change is written up with its impact on time and price, and nothing is built until you approve it. No surprise invoices.
